I am looking for someone to train in WordPress, SEO, Internet Marketing and How to make money online. I want to duplicate what I have learned the past few years and help others make money online also.

Requirements:
- Willing to be trained
- Willing to work 3-4 hrs per day from home (Meetup 2-3 times per week)
- Preferably near Quezon City or near QC area

Change Admin Username

In securing your WordPress, the 1st thing that you need to change is the admin username. The default value for this is “admin” and you need to change it to something else. I used to teach changing this in the database but this is a little complicated for those who do not know anything about MySQL or databases.

I created the WordPress Change Admin Username Plugin to solve this problem, all you need is to install the plugin and change the admin username in the WordPress Dashboard. The WordPress Plugin has a simple functionality but very useful.

HTML and CSS Tutorials

I teach not only about WordPress, I recently finished a tutorial about HTML and CSS. The main topics for this Tutorial was how to make HTML/CSS layouts or table-less layouts for any site. When I started making websites, I used to design all my websites using tables but now all websites including most WordPress themes uses table-less layout or designing the site using CSS positioning.

Try to view the source of the HTML code of any site and if you see

in most tags, then most likely it uses table-less layout.

Career Talk

I had a chance to talk to incoming 4th year students who will be taking the UPCAT this August 2011 about a career in Information Technology, specifically in Web Technology. The Career Conference 2011 was held last May 14, 2011 at NISMED, UP Diliman, Quezon City and was exclusive to UPCAT Review enrollees of Young Einstein Learning Center.

This was my first time to talk about my career from being a Web Designer to shifting to Web Programming then teaching Web Technology courses in Asia Pacific College and being Development Lead and Manager in an American and European-based Company.

I have been looking for big sites to feature that uses WordPress and there is none bigger in the Philippines than the Official Gazette of the Republic of the Philippines, you can view it here http://www.gov.ph

Gov.ph has a simple, clean theme and they also added Social Networking functions (Share using Twitter ad Facebook) in the site. Here are some of the WordPress Plugins that the site is using: Platinum SEO, Google Calendar Events, Cleaner Gallery and Shadowbox.

I attended the WordCamp Philippines 2010 last October where I met WordPress co-founder, Matt Mullenweg. In his open forum, he talked about the Philippines being behind other asian countries in the growth of WordPress usage.
